Through thorough consulting to a comprehensive solution

At first, the situation was not advantageous for our customer, since in their search for laboratory equipment, process engineers or equipment suppliers did not provide them with any competent recommendations. That is why first of all we started with consulting with Plastic World Solutions.

We discussed each individual component in detail, so that when exchanging opinions with the customer, we could find out what kind of equipment they needed exactly, and how it operates. We also agreed with our suppliers on the best terms.

After a detailed consultation, the customer decided on a full set of laboratory equipment, including special devices for research and testing of materials for plastic granules and plastic films. Thanks to Plastic World Solutions, the customer can now perform the tests in their own laboratory as follows:

Microscopy of materials is a prerequisite for the laboratory
DSC analyses (differential scanning calorimetry)
Filter testing to check the quality of masterbatch dispersion or compounds in accordance with ISO 23900-5
Laboratory production of film, for example, to test the film formulation or evaluate the quality of the masterbatch.

Production of injection molding samples for mechanical and optical testing
Plastic rheology
Plastic flow properties in accordance with EN ISO 60 and ISO 6186
Strength tests of foil and plastic samples in accordance with ASTM D 1709 (A and B), DIN EN 14477, ISO 8295, ASTM D1894, ASTM D1424
Thickness measurement up to 0.2 microns
Measurement of the MFI (melt flow index) in accordance with ASTM D1238 by methods A and B and ISO 1133-1 by methods A and B.

We always support our customers in terms of technology so that our customers gain the insight into it as deep as possible with our help. Also, we further train and instruct customer's employees in terms of the specific features of using the technology and related standards.
